S. Catalena Jones

S. Catalena Jones bka “Lena” is a multifaceted leader dedicated to youth empowerment, education, and community advocacy. As a youth program architect, licensed educator, business coach, and certified paralegal, she brings a unique, well-rounded perspective to every space she enters.

She is also the founder of a H.S. sorority for teen girls named Junior Stars, where she creates transformative experiences that build confidence, character, and leadership.

What sets Lena apart is that her coaching and consulting work is rooted in personal experience. Like many of the individuals she serves, she has faced real-life challenges involving credit, housing, business development, financial setbacks, and rebuilding after unexpected life circumstances. After navigating her own journey — and utilizing many of the same tools, resources, and strategies she now teaches — she recognized the need for a trusted, one-stop resource where people could receive guidance, education, mentorship, and practical solutions under one roof.

Through Ivy's Game Changers, she helps individuals and entrepreneurs create a clear path forward — whether they are seeking to improve their credit, establish or grow a business, overcome barriers to housing and funding, or develop the confidence and leadership skills needed to build a stronger future.

Rooted in Chicago's Lawndale community, Jones is actively involved in both local and national organizations. Her career and volunteer efforts reflect her deep commitment to justice, mental wellness, and creating safe, empowering spaces for the next generation. Her writing — an authentic fusion of faith, culture, street wisdom, and social commentary — mirrors her real-life mission: to challenge, uplift, and ignite purpose in young minds.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jones is most proud of her role as a mother to three daughters. Her journey is powered by faith, prayer, resilience, and a passion for helping others recognize their worth, overcome obstacles, and move forward with confidence toward the life they deserve.
